- I retired after 45 years in sales and moved with my wife to Mexico in 2005. Have been a avid photographer for over 50 years with many photos published in many magazines over the years, was astonished by the many bird species in Mexico so I started to photograph some of them. Equipment use ,Canon 5D eos camera,Canon 600mm.F4 lense, Gitzo tripod with a Wimberley head. Hope everyone enjoys Vince Gravel

Just found your blog while trying to figure out which birds I spotted on a recent trip to Ixtapa. Such wonderful photography you have here! It's not easy getting good photos of birds but you've done a great job. Keep it up!
